London Hydro Elects New Chair
May 18, 2005 - London, Ontario
The Board of Directors of London Hydro today elected Mr. Peter Johnson as the new Chair.
Mr. Peter Johnson has been a member of the board of directors since November 2000, and has a vast amount of business experience and knowledge of the electricity industry.
As the industry continues to move toward a new deregulated environment, Mr. Johnson will provide guidance and direction to ensure London Hydro’s shareholder’s objectives are met while providing a safe, reliable supply of electricity to Londoners.
The board and management of London Hydro congratulate Mr. Johnson on his appointment to Chair, and look forward to his leadership.
The board would also like to welcome two new members to the board. Marilyn Sinclair and Mohan Mathur have been appointed to London Hydro’s Board of Directors effective June 1, 2005.
Ms. Sinclair and Mr. Mathur will replace Mr. Gary Nickerson and Mr. John Wyllie as their terms have expired.
