Board Chair Accepts New Challenge

The Board of Directors of London Hydro today announced that Chair, Steve Stefanko has submitted his resignation as a result of his appointment to the Ontario Municipal Board. Mr. Stefanko’s new appointment precludes him from serving as a member of the utility’s board.

Mr. Stefanko has been a member of the board since February 16, 1998 and was elected to the position of Chair on November 9, 1999.

During his tenure, Mr. Stefanko has steered the corporation through many difficult times and issues including the transition to an incorporated company, and deregulation of the electricity market.

The board, management and staff of London Hydro wish Mr. Stefanko well in his new position.
