Temporary Meter Data Management Representative

London Hydro Inc. is currently recruiting for a Temporary MDM Representative to work in our Meter Data Management Department for approximately nine months. 

Under the direction of the MDM Supervisor, the Temporary MDM Representative will analyze meter reading exceptions and select a course of action to ensure both timely and accurate billings.

JOB DUTIES

As part of your responsibilities as an MDM Representative, you will:

  • Analyze meter data exceptions, investigate and correct discrepancies and choose appropriate course of action such as recheck, estimate, accept or adjust.
  • Create, distribute, track and close service orders for check reads, move outs, and meter irregularities.
  • Investigate low reads, missed or stale reads, service orders that could not be completed, access issues, continuous estimates and determine appropriate course of action.
  • Initiate calls and correspondence to customers to advise them to meet their obligations or schedule service order appointments.
  • Respond to inquiries from other departments.
  • Notify Electric and Water Meter shops of meter irregularities, health & safety hazards and suspected theft.
  • Test MDM related systems as an end user.
  • Create and maintain procedures and MDM-related system processes, participate in documenting workflow and step-by-step processes and assist in the training of new personnel.
  • Perform other duties related to the above job purpose.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Act rules and regulations, the IHSA's Electrical Utility Safety Rules, London Hydro safe work practices and procedures, and all components of London Hydro's health and safety program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified Temporary Meter Data Representative we seek for this opportunity must be able to meet the following requirements:

 

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficiency using personal computers; this includes excellent Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent keyboarding skills 

 

Wage:  $21.57 per hour
