Temporary Customer Service Representative (6-12 months)

If you’re a skilled communicator – verbally and in writing – who enjoys dealing with the public, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Contact Centre team at London Hydro.

As a Temporary Customer Service Representative, you will work under the direction of the Manager, Contact Centre, or designate, responding to customer inquiries either in person or through the telephone, e-mails or written correspondence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills when communicating with customers regarding billings, payments, payment arrangements, products, repairs, policies and practices.
  • Maintain and update computerized customer records.
  • Research customer records for skip tracing and metering discussions.
  • Assist customers with online account support
  • Document all customer interactions.
  • Sort mail and process returned mail.
  • Promote initiatives, products and programs.
  • Initiate correspondence through modifying existing system letters and reports.
  • Use a personal computer and appropriate software proficiently.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Keyboarding speed of 35 w.p.m.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
