New Executive Appointment – Alex Palimaka, VP – Legal and General Counsel

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Palimaka as Vice President – Legal and General Counsel at London Hydro, effective Monday, June 30, 2025.

Alex brings a wealth of experience in municipal and energy sector law. He began his legal career as City Solicitor for the City of Sarnia before serving 22 years as Senior VP & General Counsel at Bluewater Power, where his portfolio included Legal, Risk Management, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Customer Service. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Alex has held various volunteer roles as part of his commitment to community involvement.

As London Hydro continues to evolve, the increasing complexity of our operations calls for an expanded Executive Leadership Team. The addition of this new VP role enables us to integrate in-house legal counsel and better balance responsibilities across divisions. This will sharpen our focus on legal compliance, governance, and risk management.
