Investing Today to Power Tomorrow
Each year, we upgrade electrical systems in neighbourhoods across the city to provide safer, more reliable power for our customers. This work may include installing new underground cables, moving transformers to front boulevards, upgrading poles and overhead lines, and removing outdated equipment.
Depending on the type of work taking place, you may notice:
Temporary Disruptions - Some work may require short-term driveway closures, access to backyards, or minor landscaping and tree trimming.
Planned Outages - If a power interruption is required, we’ll provide at least 48 hours’ notice in advance.
Area Restoration - Once construction is complete, we’ll restore any affected areas, including lawns and boulevards.
